TEAM TALK: ELODIE TORZUOLI
Elodie joined the Synergy team in 2023 for the event's Mexico edition and has since become the main point of contact for exhibitor and logistics enquiries. With a calm, solutions-focused approach and exceptional attention to detail, she plays a key role in ensuring every exhibitor feels supported from the moment they join the event through to their arrival onsite.
Passionate about creating seamless experiences and meaningful connections, Elodie brings empathy, organisation and warmth to everything she does. Outside of Synergy, she's an avid traveller, nature lover and mum of two, finding inspiration in adventure, family and the restorative power of the outdoors.
Q. What drew you to Synergy and excites you most about your role?
I've known Francesca, Synergy's Event Manager, for many years, so when she invited me to join the team, I didn't hesitate for a second.
What immediately attracted me was the opportunity to be part of a team of incredibly talented and inspiring women. It's the first time in my career that I've worked alongside so many strong female leaders—women who are empowered, make decisions, support one another, and share the same passion for creating something truly meaningful.
What excites me most about my role is creating an experience where every detail matters. I love bringing people together, facilitating genuine connections and helping create moments that inspire, educate and leave a lasting impact.
Q. What value or daily practice do you bring to your work?
I believe that kindness and attention to detail make all the difference. Every day, I try to work with empathy, stay curious and always focus on creating value for others.
Q. What kind of traveller are you?
I'm a travelling mum, and whenever I can, I explore the world with my two daughters. For me, travel isn't just about the destination - it's about everything that happens before, during, and after the journey.
I love sharing the excitement of planning a trip together, choosing our next destination, watching them pack their little suitcases, and seeing their curiosity grow with every adventure. Experiencing a new place through their eyes makes every journey even more meaningful.
Those experiences create memories that stay with us long after we've returned home and, I hope, inspire them to remain curious, open-minded, and adventurous throughout their lives.
Q. Favourite country that you have travelled to?
If I had to choose one, I would say Chile, especially the breathtaking Valle de la Luna in the Atacama Desert. Standing in such a vast, silent landscape felt surreal.
It's one of those places that stays with you long after you've returned home.
Q. Do you have a favourite hotel or property?
Domaine de Murtoli in Corsica. What makes it so special is the perfect balance between understated luxury, nature, and authenticity. Everything feels thoughtfully designed to blend into the surrounding landscape rather than compete with it. There is a real sense of peace, simplicity, and respect for the environment.
Q. What keeps you grounded and centred?
Nature is my reset button. Spending time outdoors in the mountains, surrounded by the forest, and enjoying a quiet moment away from the noise helps me reconnect with myself.
Family also keeps me grounded. They remind me every day of what is truly important.
Q. A travel moment that changed you?
One of the most meaningful travel moments for me was my first flight after becoming a mother.
It was just a short trip, but everything felt different. For the first time, I wasn't travelling only for myself - I was travelling with the responsibility of caring for someone else.
Becoming a mother transformed the way I experience the world, making every adventure more intentional, more emotional, and ultimately more meaningful.
Q. What practice or teacher has impacted you in your life?
Discovering Yin Yoga has had a profound impact on me. It taught me to slow down instead of constantly rushing from one thing to the next.
Rather than striving for a perfect pose, I learned to listen to my body, respect its limits, and accept where I am in each moment. That shift in perspective extends far beyond the yoga mat.
One of the greatest lessons has been learning to quiet my mind and fully embrace the present moment. In a world that encourages us to always do more, Yin Yoga reminds me that there is real strength in stillness, patience, and simply being present.
Q. Your top three travel essentials?
Lip balm – It may sound simple, but I never travel without it.
A foldable tote bag – Lightweight, practical, and incredibly useful in every situation.
Comfortable shoes – The best way to discover a destination is on foot, and comfortable shoes let me explore freely for hours.
Q. What is your favourite book?
My favourite stories are the ones I read with my daughters before bedtime.
That quiet moment at the end of the day has become a cherished ritual for all of us. We choose books that we genuinely enjoy together, so it's just as much a pleasure for me as it is for them. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we dream, and sometimes the stories spark wonderful conversations.
Those shared reading moments remind me that the simplest rituals often become the most meaningful memories.
