1. Promoter
The prize draw is organised and promoted by Synergy – The Retreat Show Ltd, 128m City Road, EC1V 2NX, London, UK ("Synergy" or the "Promoter"), in connection with its 2026 Global Retreat Industry Research.
2. Eligibility
The prize draw is open worldwide to individuals aged 18 years or over, except where participation is prohibited or restricted by applicable local law, and only for who complete the relevant research survey during the promotional period.
Employees of Synergy, the participating prize partners, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Only one entry per person will be accepted per survey. Multiple entries may be disqualified.
3. How to Enter
To enter the prize draw, participants must:
Complete the survey in full.
Provide a valid email address at the end of the survey if they wish to be entered into the prize draw.
Participation in the prize draw is entirely optional. Survey responses may still be submitted anonymously without entering the prize draw.
No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.
4. Promotional Period
The prize draw opens on 9th July 2026 and closes at 23:59 CET on 7th August 2026.
Entries received after the closing date will not be eligible.
5. Winner Selection
Following the survey closing date, three winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries using a verifiably random computer selection process.
Synergy will retain appropriate records of the selection process.
Each eligible participant may win a maximum of one prize.
The selection process will be conducted fairly and in accordance with applicable promotional marketing requirements.
6. The Prizes
The prize draw consists of three wellness travel experiences generously provided by Synergy partner organisations.
Prize details will be published alongside the survey.
Prize 1: Surf Synergy, Costa Rica, seven-night retreat stay for two
Prize 2: Minos Palace Resort, Crete, three-night stay for two
Prize 3: Equinox Hotel New York, two-night stay for two including one Techno treatment at the Spa for two guests
Full inclusions, validity periods, blackout dates and provider-specific booking conditions are set out in the relevant prize description published on the research webpage and form part of these Terms & Conditions.
Prizes are supplied by the respective partner organisations and are subject to the individual terms and booking conditions of each provider.
The three prizes will be randomly allocated among the three selected winners. Winners may not select or exchange their allocated prize.
7. Prize Conditions
Unless otherwise stated:
Prizes are non-transferable.
No cash alternative is available.
Prizes may not be exchanged.
Reservations are subject to availability.
Blackout dates or seasonal restrictions may apply.
Winners are responsible for arranging their own travel, visas, insurance, transfers and any personal expenses unless specifically included within the prize description.
Any applicable taxes or charges associated with accepting the prize remain the responsibility of the winner.
8. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted via the email address provided within fourteen (14) days of the prize draw.
If a winner does not respond within ten (10) days of notification, Synergy reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
9. Publicity
By accepting the prize, winners agree that Synergy may announce their first name, country of residence and prize won across Synergy's communication channels, unless the winner requests otherwise.
10. Data Protection
Personal information collected for the prize draw will be used solely for:
administering the prize draw;
contacting winners; and
where consent has been provided, future communications from Synergy.
Survey responses will be analysed in aggregate and reported anonymously.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and Synergy's Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
Synergy accepts no responsibility for:
incomplete or late entries;
technical failures affecting survey completion;
cancellation, modification or withdrawal of prizes by the prize providers;
any travel arrangements made by winners.
Each prize provider is responsible for fulfilling its own prize.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
12. Changes
Synergy reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions should circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
Synergy reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the prize draw, or substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value, only where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable. Any changes will be communicated as soon as reasonably practicable and will not unfairly disadvantage participants.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising from or in connection with the prize draw, subject to any mandatory rights available to participants under the laws of their country of residence.
