Retreats in the Media

The UK national media have started reporting on retreats as an option for breaks with a purpose, as a category well run independent retreats dedicated to specific interests are on the cusp of going mainstream:

“It wasn't just me who appreciated the approach. This was the second or third such retreat for several of the people on the course, a surprising number of whom were men. One of them summed up the appeal when he explained: "It's just so nice to come back from a holiday feeling good rather than exhausted after too many nights drinking too much and eating too much” The Independent

“No one really tells you before you go that these weeks are as much about your mental as wellbeing as your physical. It was fascinating to watch people's transformations, and their bonding, in a relaxed, unforced way” The Daily Telegraph

“Painting holidays, by their nature, are hard to track down... ...Such holidays, however, can be a dream. The locations have been chosen for their capacity to inspire, and so invariably are pretty. You will be with like-minded people - but will have a chance to escape them when it comes to finding a quiet spot to paint.” The Daily Telegraph
